History of the Chapter

A Group with a Common Passion

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University chapter of Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 1996 after a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests into an official Fraternity. Since then we’ve grown as a community, and have expanded what we offer to our members. When you decide to join us, you too will gain access to various events and, most importantly, to a group of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate as you are.

Alpha Phi Omega's Vision

"We create inclusive communities for a more peaceful world in which to make a life, by developing leaders, uniting members through friendship and rendering service to all."

Principles

Leadership

The Fraternity has several leadership programs to help brothers become better leaders by developing their own personal skills as well as learning more about chapter operations.

Friendship

Alpha Phi Omega seeks to develop friendship and all members to develop a sense of brotherhood by shared experiences through understanding the fraternal history and goals of creating community.
